In which two alternate fantasy worlds collide...

Brass Tiger Charm (#1/31, #1/365) [EA:V2] (Trinket)

This is a small brass tiger charm on a leather string, to be worn around the neck. The brass tiger has a mischievous grin - actually the item is cursed, and whoever wears it will insult anyone they talk to with the first words they utter. Roll on the table below for sample insults or feel free to generate your own.

Roll Insult

1 Impudent Peasant! Bow down before me, you lowly scum!

2 Get out of the way, Orc-breath!

3 I'm already sitting here, you wrinkled hag!

4 Your squalid pus-ridden face makes me want to vomit!

5 Dung-breath! You have the manners of a worm!

6 What Goblin latrine did you just crawl from?

The VIVISECT is a hideous hybrid nightmare, an amalgamation of Marrangha magic creation, the pieces of various creatures stitched together and reanimated as a new and often completely insane beast, who only knows to kill and to feast on the remains of those it has killed. It is often created by scholars using surgery and magic to make the ultimate war beast, and thus requesting the services of adventurers or warriors to test their creations upon. Such fights are to the death, unless magical arrangements to stop the fight are previously agreed upon, for the creature knows no other way. One adventurer who slew such a beast described its demise thusly:

"The vile monstrosity sank to the ground, squelching in a pool of blood and green ichor. The stench of its spilled entrails was nauseating. The sages were woebegone at the death of their creation, but they helped me out of the pit.

'I'm sorry,' said Moreau, 'My spell did not work. What a shame you had to kill her.'

I shook my head at their madness and asked for my gold. Polonius dove his hands into various pockets and folds of his robes, a look of consternation crossing his features. He was about to make some excuse, when he saw my growing anger, and eventually he offered me a magical scroll as payment instead, which contained a Spell of Agonzing Doom. Accepting this, I took my leave and headed for the house of the sage Apothecus."
